Mane Media will close early on September 4, 2026, at 3 pm. We will be closed on September 7, 2026, for the Labor Day Holiday. We will be open during regular hours on Tuesday, September 8th from 9 am-5 pm. 

Policies

The video production facilities and equipment provided by Lindenwood University are for student, faculty, and staff use in the completion of class assignments and individual projects for course credit. By checking out equipment, you accept responsibility for the appropriate care of that equipment from the time it is check out until the time it is returned to the Equipment Center.  All equipment is due two business days (excluding weekends and university observed holidays) from the date of the rental by no later then 4:00pm.  Failure to return the equipment on time will result in a late fee of $5.00 per item per day. We will assess fines for the cost of repair or replacement of damaged or lost equipment. Students should inspect all equipment at the time of check out to verify that all parts are present and operational. Equipment room staff will inspect all items upon return, and all missing parts or malfunctions not noted prior to checkout will be attributed to the current user. We recognize the day-to-day use of equipment results in normal "wear and tear," such as small nicks, chips, fading of finish, etc. At check in, notify staff of any equipment problems, and a determination will be made regarding student culpability. We will provide students who are responsible for broken equipment of their portion of the repair cost after Lindenwood receives a timely estimate. Students can submit a written appeal within forty-eight hour of notification, and the university will make a final decision if the student is negligent or otherwise at fault.

FINES AND REPAIR COSTS
Late fees and repair or replacement costs are billed to student accounts. Late equipment fees accumulate at the rate of $5.00 per item per business day. Within the final month of semesters fines will increase to $20 per day due to the increased demand. Fines will be accrued up to a maximum of one-half the replacement value of each item.

LOST
Equipment not returned by the last day of the semester, is considered lost, and the student will be charged the full replacement cost of the item(s).
